Aftercare

Life after the program: staying connected

How alumni check-ins support long-term recovery.

Reviewed by Dr. Farhana Islam, MBBS, MPH (Placeholder) — Updated Jul 2026

Completing the core community program is a milestone, not a finish line. The re-entry and aftercare phase is designed around a simple idea: the habits built inside a structured community need ongoing, gradually reduced support as someone rebuilds life outside it.

What aftercare actually involves

Aftercare isn't a single event — it's a series of touchpoints: scheduled alumni check-ins, continued family guidance sessions where appropriate, and an open line back to the program if someone needs to reconnect. The frequency and format are individualized rather than fixed.

Why connection matters after re-entry

Isolation is one of the more common risk points after any structured program ends. Staying loosely but reliably connected to a community that already knows your story — rather than starting over each time you need support — is part of why we treat aftercare as core to the program rather than optional.

Please note:

Aftercare supports long-term recovery but does not guarantee any specific outcome. Individual circumstances vary, and ongoing support should be discussed directly with our team.
