How We Support Recovery

Three pillars of the Layalia Afriecq community

Structured Community Living

A daily rhythm, shared house responsibilities, and roles that rebuild self-discipline one day at a time.

Peer-Led Recovery

Residents further along their journey guide and mentor newer members — the community as the primary therapist.

Family & Aftercare Support

Recovery extends beyond our doors — family guidance and alumni check-ins support lasting, substance-free life.

Who We Are

A community built on peer support, not isolation

Layalia Afriecq is a therapeutic and recovery-focused organization in Dhaka. Inspired by the Therapeutic Community model, we treat recovery as a whole-person process — behavioral, psychological, social, and lifestyle change — rather than symptom management alone.

Through structured participation, peer support, positive social learning, and personal accountability, residents build the skills needed for a productive, substance-free life.

Our Approach

Three phases of the Therapeutic Community journey

Every resident moves through a structured path — not a fixed timeline, but a sequence of milestones earned through participation and growth.

01

Orientation & Assessment

A calm entry period focused on safety, trust-building, and understanding each resident's needs and goals.

02

Core Community Program

Daily structure, peer groups, house responsibilities, and guided reflection — the heart of the TC model.

03

Re-entry & Aftercare

Gradual reintegration with family, work, and community, backed by ongoing alumni check-ins.

Trust & Registration

Operating with transparency

We believe families deserve clarity about who is caring for their loved ones. See our full registration details on the Accreditations page.
